7VEN kick off the 2025/26 pre-season with a relentless 10-0 thrashing of Wingate away from home.

7VEN started the game very brightly and quickly opened the scoring as Michael Snowdon played the ball inside to Olly Burrows, who picked out the bottom corner.

The 7VEN early domination continued, and 10 minutes later, Jamie Jobson curled the ball beautifully into the top corner from a free kick.

It did not take long for the third, as in the 20th minute, Barry Milligan worked to latch on to a loose ball and played it to Burrows in the box, and played it to Paddy Mulvey, who then laid it off to Harrison Smith to smash it home.

In the 27th minute, it was 4-0. Smith was played through down the left, who squared it to Jobson, who had a simple finish for his second of the game.

Just before halftime, it was almost a repeat of the previous goal as Smith played it into Jobson inside the area, and it was an easy goal to complete his hat-trick.

It took a while for 7VEN to get back into the swing of things again after halftime, but they remained the dominant side.

In the 63rd minute, the travelling side made it 6 goals to the good. Smith played a perfect defence-splitting pass to Jobson, who chipped the oncoming keeper beautifully for his fourth.

New signing Jack Weegram picked up his first goal contribution for the club as he beat his man down the right-hand side and found Snowdon placed his effort into the bottom corner in the 69th minute.

Just a minute later, Snowdon turned provider, as he whipped in an inch-perfect cross that found Mulvey, who smashed it in to make it 8-0.

In the 71st minute, it was 9-0, as Weegram added a goal to his assist in the game, Burrows made a great run and squared it to him at the back post, and it was a simple finish for the ninth.

The last goal came in the 78th minute as Mulvey found Milligan deep, he broke through the defence to find himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper, and he made no mistake to slot it past him for the tenth and final goal of the game.

A great showing for 7VEN after the break, some quality passages of play throughout and the lads look fitter than ever. UT7.
