7VEN exit the Cliffy Campbell Cup in the semi-finals after a 7-0 defeat to AFC Supporters.

The game started on strange terms with a passback from 7VEN meant Supporters were awarded with an indirect freekick, which Carl Winstanley saved, and handed the home side a corner.

The corner fell to nothing, but in the 12th minute, the deadlock was broken as Taylor Campbell's strike from range took a deflection, which was enough to take it behind the 7VEN keeper.

The goals kept coming, and in the 21st minute, it was 2-0. Jason Blackburn was played through over the top and found the bottom left corner.

Supporters' pressure was relentless, Ben Henderson was played through on the left-hand side and slotted it away for the third in the 38th minute.

Two minutes later. 4-0. Through Liam Wright

Sadly, the second half wasn't a sign of better things to come. In the 54th minute, Shay Hackworth picked the ball up on the edge of the box and found the bottom corner.

7VEN did have a couple of chances, but nothing really testing of Supporters' defence. Harvey Hope was bright in possession.

In the 65th minute, it was 6-0, Henderson's strike was saved by Winstanley, but he could only parry it to Philly Angus, who scored.

Ten minutes after that, the final goal of the game was scored as Elliot Wilson headed home to put 7VEN out of their misery.

Disappointing to bow out of a cup semi-final, but the All England Sunday League Cup finalists showed why they are just that on Sunday morning.

Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Harvey Hope, who worked tirelessly off the ball and made things happen with it. UT7.
