Supporters nearly took the lead in the 5th minute, if not by a superb goal-line clearance by Olly Burrows and a follow-up save by Layton Prosser in the 7VEN goal.

7VEN were the team that went in front; Callum Short played a ball over the top of the defence, which found Michael Stamp, and with a bit of help from the defender, it was bumbled over the line.

Five minutes later, it was 2-0. Jordan Lee played in a free kick, which was cleared away; it eventually fell back to him, and he played in a perfect cross, which was headed into his own net by Luke Naylor.

Chances came from both sides throughout the remainder of the second half, but nothing that was testing for either goalkeeper.

The second half started with more of the same; the 7VEN defence was working hard as a unit to defend their 2-goal lead.

However, in the 65th minute, Supporters halved the deficit after Kyle Middleton snatched the ball from the 7VEN defence and fired into the bottom corner.

7VEN did defend well, trying to hold on to the lead, but in the 79th minute Supporters made it 2-2 as Craig Linsel turned and finished well inside of the area.

In the 85th minute, Supporters took the lead for the first time in the game as Middleton grabbed his second of the game, heading home from the corner.

Into added time of the game, Supporters added two more through Connor Gales and Philly Angus to fully confirm their win in the game and seal all three points.

Tough to take after leading for the majority of the game, but a solid performace from 7VEN, unrelfective of the scoreline.

The Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Paddy Mulvey for a superb shift in the midfield. UT7.
