7VEN records another Premier League defeat as Owton Manor takes all three points.
7VEN broke the deadlock when Craig Altringham got on the end of an Olly Burrows flick-on to record his second of the season.
The travelling side could have strengthened their lead, but ultimately could not deny the Owton Manor goalkeeper.
Owton Manor equalised in the 31st minute as Liam Abbey tapped it in after a low ball into the box.
Then in the 41st minute, the Manor made it 2-1 through Charlie West, as he finished off a one-two move at the near post.
After the break, Manor made it 3-1 with a superb Alfie Fawcett strike in the 57th minute.
Three minutes later, Abbey got his second of the game; much like his first, he was the right man in the area and a simple finish for him.
The last goal of the game came in the 63rd minute as Layton Prosser produced a great initial save, but it fell to Abbey, who completed his hat-trick.
The game was a bit flat throughout the remaining 25 minutes, as the manor sensed the game was done and saw out their three points in the Premier League.
Not at the races again, and 7VEN must improve going forward. Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Graeme Atkinson, who was solid at the back, despite the scoreline. UT7.
