7VEN bow out of OrangeBox Champions League with a semi-final loss to Owton Manor.

The deadlock was broken in the 12th minute as Kieran Voss headed home from a corner at the near post.

In the 27th minute, it was 2-0 as a cross was played into the box, Josh Brison got something on it, but it fell to Lewis Todd at the back post who put it away.

Things went from bad to worse for 7VEN as Nathan Thomas played a superb out wide, the winger played it inside to Mitchell Noble, who turned his defender and fired it into the top corner.

It should have been four for the Owton Manor as the forward was played through on goal with a ball over the top of the defence, but the effort was dragged wide.

Terrible first half for 7VEN, but looked a lot better in the second. Jack Stonehouse played in a free kick in the 47th minute, but Michael Snowdon could only head it onto the post.

In the 54th minute, Harvey Hope beat his man down the right-hand side. He played it into Harrison Smith in the box, but his shot was saved. Better from the Terracers.

7VEN's pressure was then rewarded as in the 59th minute, Stonehouse played in a free kick that found Milligan, who laid it off to Ollie Watt.

The defender had shot, which was blocked, but fell to Hope, who picked out the bottom corner to give 7VEN a chance in the game.

However, 7VEN had a few more chances in the remaining half hour, but Owton Manor defended well and saw out their win.

Disappointing result for 7VEN, who missed the chance for a cup final. Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Harvey Hope, who not only got a goal but worked tirelessly on the wing to make things happen. UT7.
