7VEN stay top of the Premier League with a deserved win over St. Francis at Manor Academy.

7VEN started on the front foot in the game and immediately opened the scoring in the eighth minute. Craig Altringham played a through ball, and Aiden Lamb poked it home with a first-time finish.
In the 16th minute, it was 2-0. Lamb this time turned provider, playing it out wide to Michael Snowdon, whose cross snuck in at the near post.
Despite not enjoying a lot of the ball, St. Francis found themselves back in the game in the 34th minute after Matty Burke finished off a quick counterattack.
After a lot of chances, 7VEN went into the second half a bit hard done by, but came firing out of the blocks with a third goal in the 47th minute.
Jack Stonehouse delivered a free kick, which was saved by the keeper. It fell straight to Paddy Mulvey, who had an easy finish for his third goal of the season.
With the game all but done, the action quietened down for 7VEN, although they had a few opportunities for a fourth, but nothing too testing for the keeper.
The fourth goal game in the 87th minute, as a ball was played into the box, Olly Burrows got something on it, which forced a save by the keeper. It fell to Ben Relton, who tapped it home.
A solid win for 7VEN as every point on the board matters. Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Craig Altringham, who was influential at both ends of the pitch throughout the 90 minutes. UT7.
