7VEN come back from 3-1 to claim a draw against Headland in the OrangeBox Champions League.

In the 18th minute, Headland took the lead as Ryan Appleby was played through on goal and slotted it past John Sutherland into the far corner with a lovely finish.

7VEN equalised in the 28th minute, Barry Milligan played in a great freekick from the right, Harrison Smith took it down beautifully, held off his man and curled it into the back of the net.

However, the 7VEN comeback was short-lived as in the 40th minute in almost a repeat of his first goal Appleby was played through again and placed it into the same position.

After the halftime break, Headland found themselves with a two-goal cushion as Kyle Spencer powered in an effort from the edge of the area into the top corner.

7VEN adjusted with some changes and grew into the game, Smith turned proved as he played a deep cross into the far post which found Lewis Boylen who got enough on it to score his third goal of the season.

Smith, who had a fantastic game upfront for 7VEN grabbed his second and what was the equalising goal in the game as he latched on to a loose ball and slotted it home.

Great resilience to come back but a poor showing in the first half, attention turns to Supporters on Sunday.
