7VEN stay top of the Premier League table thanks to their fifth win in a row.

7VEN started brightly as Olly Burrows scored his fourth goal of the season to open the scoring in the 7th minute after Jack Stonehouse delivered the corner.

Then, in the 36th minute, it was 2-0, Stonehouse was involved again as he found Paddy Mulvey at the far post, who crossed it to Harvey Hope, who also scored a header.

Three minutes later, despite not being in the game much, Lions also scored a header, a free kick was whipped in, and the 34th converted well.

7VEN went into the break feeling a bit hard done by, creating a lot of chances throughout the first half but failing to convert.

The third goal, however, came in the 57th minute. Stonehouse played a superb cross to the far post, which was headed home by, fresh from Corfu, Michael Snowdon.

Throughout the remaining second half, Billingham Lions did not really look to challenge 7VEN throughout tough conditions.

In the 90th minute, Stonehouse won a penalty, stepped up and slotted it away himself for his fifth goal of the campaign, and what proved to be the last kick of the game.

Not the best showing by 7VEN, but three points on the board are what is most important, as the Terracrers cruise to a perfect start in the Hartlepool Sunday Football League Premier League campaign.

Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Olly Burrows for a fantastic display at the back and chipping in with a goal too. UT7
