7VEN lose fourth game of pre-season despite a Harvey Hope hat-trick.

7VEN started the game perfectly as Jamie Jobson was played through down the right-hand side, and he played a superb ball into the box, which Hope turned in in the 4th minute.
Three minutes later, 7VEN found themselves two goals up, again through Hope, this time Michael Snowdon delivered from the left, after beating his man, and it was another simple finish for the Terracers' number 14.
Witton Park grew into the game and began to dominate possession, creating clear chances; their first was turned in in the 25th minute as Cieran Jackson delivered a powerful strike that Adam Linsel could not quite deal with.
Their dominance continued in the second half and in the 51st minute equalised through Harry Chapman.
However, in the 59th minute, 7VEN got themselves back in front. Snowdon played a defence-splitting pass that played through Hope, who made no mistake one-on-one to complete his hat-trick.
The lead did not last for long, as Witton Park quickly grabbed two goals to take it 4-3 through Aaron Willoughby and James Hughes.
In the 74th minute, 7VEN found an equaliser as Jobson whipped in another superb freekick that sailed into the bottom corner.
Just as the game was looking to finish level, Cobi Jones scored what was the winner for Witton Park in the 86th minute.
A hard showing with a small squad and lads carrying knocks; however, massive credit to 7VEN who played a tough side.
Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Harvey Hope, who not only scored a hat-trick but also worked tirelessly up front. UT7.
