7VEN through to the next round of the Cliffy Campbell Cup with a hard-fought win against the Pot House.

Despite having a lot of possession throughout the first half and creating plenty of chances, 7VEN could not find the back of the net.
The Pot House defence kept 7VEN at bay, forcing shots from distance, and any shots on goal were met by the keeper, who had another fine game.
After a change of shape going into the second half, it was more of the same, but Pot House were still defending exceptionally.
It was not until the 72nd minute that 7VEN managed to break through. Craig Altringham played a superb ball through to Harvey Hope, who slotted it past the oncoming keeper.
The lead did not last for long as in the 78th minute, Pot House equalised. Elliott Campbell played a loose pass to the number 16, who only had the keeper to beat, and he did just that.
7VEN quickly fired back with a second of the season for Ollie Watt, again Altringham the provider, playing his old friend through on goal, and he found the bottom corner expertly.
That was how the game finished, 7VEN deservedly the victors, but massive credit to Pot House, who made it very difficult.
The Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Craig Altringham for a tireless shift in midfield and for also setting up both of the goals. UT7.
