Match Report: 7VEN 12-0 Billingham Lions

7VEN take all three points from a depleted Billingham Lions to extend the lead at the top of the Premier League table.

It did not take long for 7VEN to find the back of the net, as in the 8th minute, Paddy Mulvey picked up the ball on the right, played it inside to Elliott Campbell for a one-two. Mulvey laid off Jack Stonehouse, who found the bottom corner.
In the 19th minute, it was 2-0. Aiden Lamd played it to Harvey Hope, who took a great touch to set himself up for a shot. Before he could take it, he was pulled back, and the referee had no choice but to point to the spot.
Stonehouse stepped up and placed it into the bottom left corner for his second of the game.
Just a minute later, 7VEN won the ball back, and Michael Snowdon was played through down the left. He picked out Lamb at the back post, who tapped it home, 3-0.
In the 34th minute, it was four as Craig Altringham played the ball to Mulvey, his cross made its way through everyone and trickled into the bottom corner.
Three minutes later, another goal came for 7VEN. Ollie Watt came inside from left back, found Lamb in the box, he held the ball up well and laid it off to Mulvey, who found the top corner beautifully.
Another three minutes and it was 6-0, with the last real action of the first half, Snowdon played a perfect ball to the head of Hope, who grabbed his first of the game.
Not long after the break, 7VEN made it 7-0. A repeat of the previous goal, Snowdon crossed the ball to Hope, and he slotted it away.
Stonehouse got his hat-trick in the 52nd minute, as he rifled one in from the edge of the box after a short pass from Lamb.
On the hour mark, it was 9-0, Joe Cockrill had a shot on goal, which was deflected to Altringham, who produced a lovely finish on the turn.
A minute later, it was 10. Snowdon was dangerous on the left once again; his cross was intercepted by his own teammate, Jack Weegram, but the ball then fell kindly to Ben Relton, who tapped it in.
In the 64th minute, Olly Burrows carried the ball from the back. He lost it but won it back with a tackle, which ended up going in the back of the net.
Straight away, it was 12-0. Stonehouse played Watt through on the left, and he drilled it into the bottom corner.
The referee had seen enough and blew for full-time on 65 minutes. It is worth noting that Billingham Lions were reduced to eight men in the game.
Ruthless performance from 7VEN, credit to the Billingham Lions lads who were giving it all despite the reduced numbers.
Heatwave Tanning MOTM was awarded to Michael Snowdon, who was incredible on the left wing with many pinpoint crosses into the box. UT7.
