7VEN suffer first Premier League defeat of the season as Lewis Todd nets a hat-trick for Owton Manor Social Club.

Not much to discuss in the first half as both sides failed to create any real chances. Adam Linsel claimed a few efforts from Owton Manor before they could get a shot away.
Up the other end, 7VEN created opportunities but failed to be clinical in and around the box, not having a shot on target.
In the 67th minute, the deadlock was broken, a cross was played into the box, and Todd headed it home before Linsel could claim it.
Five minutes later, 7VEN found the equaliser. Craig Altringham delivered a corner which couldn't beat the first man; it fell straight to him, and the cross was a lot better and turned home by Michael Snowdon.
In the 80th minute, Manot retook the lead through Todd again. A winger played a ball across the face of the goal, and he was there to tap it in.
7VEN pushed for a goal, but nothing could test the keeper, and Manor wrapped up all three points in the 90th minute as Todd completed his hat-trick with a good finish one-on-one on the counter.
Not the finest hour for 7VEN with a depleted squad, but credit to the Manor for being the first team to beat us in the league this season.
