7VEN well beaten by a strong Supporters side in Hartlepool Sunday League Premier League clash.

The game on Sunday morning started openly with both sides having chances, 7VEN looked organised and created opportunities to open the scoring.
However, in the 22nd minute, Ben Henderson was played with a perfect ball over the top of the defence and found himself one-on-one with Adam Linsel in the 7VEN goal and he made no mistake to make it 1-0 to the travelling side.
Just like clockwork, with virtually the same goal, Henderson doubled his tally and also his side's advantage in the game, straight from the kick-off.
The bleakness continued five minutes later as Henderson completed his hattrick, this time he was played into space from the right and found the back of the net with no real defensive pressure.
Just before halftime, Supporters got their fourth, this time through Craig Linsel who rounded his brother and slotted it into the empty net to make it 4-0.
The second half brought better fortunes for 7VEN as Jack Stonehouse scored a spectacular freekick in the 27th minute to give some hope of a potential comeback.
Supporters were relentless in their pursuit of securing three points but Linsel made a superb stop in the 54th minute to deny a fifth, for now.
He also denied his brother a second goal in the 60th, as he was equal to him one-on-one and forced a corner which fell to nothing.
Harrison Smith made things interesting in the game netting his sixth of the season as Josh Daley played him through and he produced a lovely chipped effort to make it 4-2.
However, any celebrations were quickly squandered as just two minutes later, Supporters made it 5-2 through Sam Cook as he rifled one in from the edge of the area.
Ten minutes later the game was truly over, Rory Barker played a loose pass back to Linsel who came out to collect, but he was not quick enough and Craig Linsel latched on to it and again tapped the ball into the empty net.
Not a great day at the office, the Man of the Match was awarded to Daley Clarke, who, despite the scoreline, had a solid game at the back for 7VEN. UT7.
